davido drops “pere” ft. rae sremmurd and young thug

Davido has upped the stakes in the battle to be the king of Africa. Wizkid may have the world dancing to "Sounds from the Other Side" and touring with Future; Black Coffee may have just hosted his first Beats 1 Radio show, but Davido has dropped a serious banger that has grabbed the world's attention.

The track is titled "Pere" and is produced by DJ Mustard. We see Thugga, Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi smash their verses while Davido saves himself for last before putting the song to bed.

The track has impressed both listeners and music critics. Nigerian blogger, Ovie-O who writes for NotJustOk was very complimentary in his praise of the track as he described it:

Meanwhile, Joey Akan from pulse thinks that Davido is developing an obsession with Trap Music. This makes sense when you consider that Davido has a home (and spent part of his youth) in Atlanta.
